Classes at INSIDE OUT DANCE THEATRE take a holistic approach to teaching and learning, respecting each student’s individual development level and needs. Our studio is a non-competitive sanctuary for dancers, a place where they can step into an environment which nurtures positive growth and development.
Our classes focus on the whole dancer and encourages students to develop confidence to explore an uninhibited creative expression. Students have the opportunity to improvise, engage in creative problem solving and grow in cognitive, social and emotional ways as they interact in class.
Student classes range in age from 2 ½ (dancing with a parent) right through to adults. Dance and drama are enriching experiences at any age and experience level. Our approach is to provide a way for young and old to experience their own creativity, impulses and expression.
Our annual concerts (non-compulsory) enable students to share their skills, performance making and joy with the community. An opportunity for validation and self-confidence as they develop work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Studio hire is also available.
At INSIDE OUT students have the opportunity to develop the following;
