Jen trained in Drama, Dance and Literature at Melbourne Uni with a B.Ed (Arts) and has worked in theatre, television, short film, opera and circus over the past 25 years.

She has directed shows and run circus programs for The National Institute of Circus Arts, lectured in acting and directed opera at The Victorian College of the Arts, directed shows for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and formed a touring theatre company.

She has performed as an actor in TV shows such as A Country Practice and on stage at La Mama Theatre, Carlton Courthouse, and toured schools shows across Victoria.

Jen has made a number of short films including the award winning Marital Kombat which screened at St Kilda Film Festival, Brisbane Film Festival, Arena TV, ABC TV and Mill Valley Film Festival San Francisco and Drown or be Shot which screened at Houston International Film Festival and for which she won an editing award.

Jen directed two theatre/hip hop/opera projects with clients of Malmsbury Juvenile Justice Centre for More Than Opera company.

A career highlight was being stage manager for the Centenary of Federation Celebrations in 2001 at the Carlton Exhibition Buildings, honouring notable Australians including five Australian Prime ministers, which screened live on ABC TV.

Jen has taught Drama at University, Secondary, and Primary school levels and to Juvenile Justice centre clients.

Jen recently co-ordinated Words in Winter, a literary arts festival across the Hepburn Shire, and WinterFest school holiday program for Daylesford.

Jen teaches Acting, Dance and Nature Ed classes in Daylesford, Victoria and practices the martial art, Tang Soo Tao.
